The new Renault Megane Sport Tourer arrives in UK showrooms today
To our eyes the Megane Sport tourer is a pretty good looking car. It follows the fashion for swoopy estates and does a convincing job of turning the Megane in to a load carrier without making it look as of Renault have just bolted a pile of sheet metal at the back. The Sport Tourer comes in a bewildering array of 21 different models across four trim levels – Expression, Dynamique, TomTom Edition and Privilège.
The Tesla Roadster Sport will be available from the summer, for around €112K, and claims a 0-60 time of 3.7 seconds, a 0.2 improvement on the existing Tesla Roadster. The extra power comes from fiddling with the stator in the motor and an increased winding density for less resistance (I’m sure that must make sense if you understand Electric Motors – I’m still stuck on the internal combustion engine – must keep up!). The Tesla Roadster Sport also gets Yokohama Ultra High Performance tyres and some suspension tweaks.
The new Land Rover Discovery Sport arrives officially
Here it is: the new Land Rover Discovery Sport, a replacement for the Land Rover Freelander and the first in a family of new Discovery models. And it looks to hit the mark. The new Discovery Sport cleverly moves Land Rover’s design forward, but the Sport is clearly a Land Rover / Range Rover.
